What is a good location? For whom?

When selecting a location for a business, what is most important?

Distance from suppliers?

Distance from customer base?

Or maybe distance from competitors?

Perhaps the best location is close to a competitor with lower reputation than you!

That way, you will capture more and more of their business as customers realise that you provide better service.

Look after your reputation, and the reputation will look after you!

What kind of services would be ideal and appropriate in these settings? Oh that's one is easy! Anything that supports the local economy. Think Lamazon, Luber, Leat, LairBnB, Lebay, Lbooking Hmm, and maybe throw in a Llloyds (or any Lbank) for a good measure? And then just keep them rolling. Oh, and the "L" stands for local. :-) The originals will just adjust, and the local economy will reap the reward of the change - globally!
